2021 College Football Polls

Final 4 will be

1. UGA
2. Ohio State
3. Cincinnati
4. Notre Dame
If the favorites win out, the only thing to likely stop that is a 1-loss Oklahoma State team that gets two quality wins and a conference championship that Notre Dame wouldn’t have. I think Okie State should jump the Domers in that scenario, but will the ND brand corrupt the committee into having them at #4 over a 12-1 Okie State?

If it doesn't and ND misses the playoffs because they refuse to join a conference we may see a come to Jesus meeting between Kelly, Sawbricks, and the ACC President. They'd be stupid not to. They have to drop at least one of their four ooc games - Stanford, USC, Navy, Ohio State the next two years. Tough choices: a lot of TV money to take two ass whippin' s, or keep the West Coast recruiting trips and a team that would play them in Dublin on Easter Sunday if asked.

Checked the Big XII conference tiebreakers. Baylor plays Texas Tech early Saturday, if they win they finish with 2 losses and a win over Oklahoma. Oklahoma and Okie St each have 1 loss and play each other in the Bedlam game Saturday evening. The Bedlam winner on Saturday night will get 1 spot in the CCG.

If Baylor and Okie State win Saturday, they’ll meet in the CCG cause of Baylor’s head-to-head over the Sooners.

If Baylor and Oklahoma win Saturday, the CCG will be a Bedlam rematch due to Okie St’s win over Baylor.

If Baylor loses on Saturday, the CCG will be a Bedlam rematch, and they’ll know that before they take the field Saturday.

Baylor has 2 losses and should be out of it, Oklahoma has been so lowly rated by the committee that I don’t think they would jump 1-loss ND for the 4 spot. But if Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma and then beats Baylor, I think they should be ahead of ND for the playoff.

Oklahoma State lost at Iowa State by 3, and all of their conference wins are by double-digits. In the non-conference, they beat Boise State by 1 point, and have 1-score wins over Missouri State and Tulsa.

Notre Dame had good wins over Purdue and Wisconsin, the home loss to Cincy, and a trio of 3-point wins; FSU in OT, Toledo, and Va Tech.

One huge flaw with your logic - it uses logic. Don't you S-E-C or CFP Committee, bro?

If a two loss Bama gets in (and I give zero fucks about how close the loss is) then the corruption is completely laid bare. And consider also, that Bama would go in at the 3 spot to avoid the rematch. How can they possibly justify not only putting them in but not even dropping them after a loss. I really think they'll try long and hard to rationalize it before finally backing away from the madness and giving the four spot to the Domers.
