2021 College Football Polls

Pitt is 5-1 with wins at Tennessee and Virginia Tech. If they hadn't pissed down their legs at home vs Western Michigan they'd probably be in the top 10.

OU does look like a different team with Caleb Williams but I’d still take Cincy over them by at least 10. At least UC blows out bad teams.

Also beat the #1 team at home by a field goal? Instantly back in the Top 25. Beat the #2 team by 17 on the road? Here have some pity votes.

Clemson in the Top 25.

Purdue in at #25:biggrin2:
My only real Problem with it is the points between Bama and OSU. The gap between Bama and OSU should be closer then the gap between Bama and Oklahoma. Not like 3x it

Three top ten teams left on our schedule. Take care of that business, and hope they don't go completely to shit before we do, and we'll be fine.

Regardless of how may guys Mark May blew while he was at Pitt, we will all be Pitt fans this Saturday.

Does anyone seriously believe Cincinnati is the 2nd best team in the country? Did anyone really think Iowa was? Do voters even watch games?

The polls are jokes. I hope the CFP committee digs a bit deeper than these lazy pollsters.

The regular polls definitely influence perception somewhat. People try to claim they don't when it comes to the CFP committee but they do.

Unless you're in the room you have no way of knowing how much, if any, influence the polls have on the committee. Neither do I.
