I don't follow what is so clear about Oklahoma being superior to U-M that OU should be ranked higher or a voter should lose their vote. There are a number of statistical criteria that support U-M as probably a better team than Oklahoma. At some point you have to throw out what you thought the teams would be in the preseason and acknowledge them for what they actually are today. U-M has looked more dominant against their opponents (Sagarin SOS #16) than Oklahoma has against worse competition (Sagarin SOS #52).
OU needed two 4th Q FGs at home to escape WVU, including a walk-off game winner as the clock hit 0:00. They've had one possession finals vs Tulane, K State, Texas, and a common opponent shared with U-M, Nebraska, whom OU got at home vs U-M playing on the road. OU has given up 30+ points to three different opponents, U-M hasn't allowed that once. Grinch's D gave up 35 to a 1-5 team from the American conference.
Both teams have flaws. U-M's has been finishing drives. OU's has been getting gashed (Texas had 8 plays of +25 yards).
