Bama basically looking like undefeated Oklahoma a few weeks ago. Oklahoma was hammered by the committee in an embarrassing fashion. Bama gets praised for managing to get lucky and win games they should have lost.

If we played ttun close, the maybe I could say we have a tiny chance. It is now zero. Because there is zero chance the committee would move is over a Bama with the same record even if Georgia clobbers them (it’s georgia after all), ND after both sitting with ND having the advantage right now, or ttun after what they just did to us last week. 5 is the highest number we will see even if everything breaks right.
honestly if Oregon beats Utah, I would move them over us as we have shown we haven’t actually improved since that loss.

I was with you until the 2nd half of that last sentence. They clearly have improved. If Day hadn't decided to let dUMb score on that last drive, it would have only been a 1 TD score.

Weren’t they in a nickel package most of the 2nd half as they laughingly tried to defend the run? Or is that base now. Or I might have some players mixed up as I was pretty hammered yelling at them to go 4-3, which I thought was our base defense.

Are people really still clinging to playoff delusion? There’s a long list of teams that would get picked in front of us, including:

Georgia
Alabama
Michigan
Cincinnati
Notre Dame
Oklahoma State
Baylor

If Michigan loses to Iowa, why would they take us instead of Michigan, who just beat us? It doesn’t matter what happens Saturday, we ain’t going.

If you’re being a little lenient with OSU, they allowed the last TD to get ball back with under 2 mins. In theory, Michigan would’ve kneeled it.

Whether Committee even thinks that deeply about it, I don’t know.

It really depends on what the Bama game looks like. The committee has said injuries will also play a role in their decision making, so another possibility (not that I want anyone hurt) if a key player on Bama/Oregon get hurt. In fact, I think part of the reason OSU is above Oregon and possibly stays above them is bc of all the injuries Oregon has sustained throughout year.

Listen, I don’t expect us to make CFP. I’m just saying there’s a chance…..especially if Cincy loses.

I think ND has shored up their opportunity to go ahead of OSU by locking Freeman in and having a full staff. ND now has the ability to easily push their case for being in front of OSU, although I still think OSU’s resume is far better than ND even with the extra loss. ND schedule was terrible this year.

It's 4-3 with the Bullet. Should have went 4-3 plus the bullet making it closer to a 4-4 instead of closer to Nickel imo.
