This team is going to be an interesting one to watch. I wouldn't be shocked with 23-8 or 8-23.

I think this will be a pretty tough test, actually, especially if Sueing isn't full go.

Ahem, like I said.

And that's not to say Akron is all that. But this Buckeye team is really shaky in the backcourt and with no Kyle and a not healthy Sueing, they have no talent margin over anyone.

I wouldnt be shocked to see Akron get 20 wins by the end of the season and this count as a quality win. It looks like pure shit right now but there is a lot to build on. Toughest part will be finding the leaders, and Kyle staying healthy because he is one for sure.

Wheeler needs to play a huge role: Defense and distribute and our guards can't have many of these off shooting nights. Ahrens is going to be glued to somebody and EJ is going to see mass double teams so maybe it's Branham by default but we need to find an identity. 1 game in folks. It's a long ride so let's at least try to enjoy some of it.

Akron is decent for sure. Walton and Ali played great, if they keep up that kind of play, they'll win a lot of games.

I will go on record saying that if CH can muster up more than 20 wins and get through the 1st weekend of the Tourney with this team I will be shocked.

Shocked? That's what I expect. I have no illusions of them becoming a full on dominant team but 20-10 should be closer to the floor than the ceiling. It'll just take a minute to gel and build the right chemistry but that's what the Niagara's and Akron' are for. Buckeye football found that out this year the hard way.
