2021-2022 Bowl Game Discussion

Interesting point. As I see us being without A LOT of key players in the bowl game of NIL isn't counted. Without exactly naming names, I expect us to be down 2 WRs, TE, 1OL, just on offense. I could care less who sits on defense because at this point, most of their backups I'd rather seee anyway.
I’m curious how particular these agreements are and if bowl game participation is included?

One of my favorite bowls of all time was the Alamo Bowl in which Teddy Ginn and Troy Smith really gave the Bucks a shitload of momentum going into following season.

Im actively rooting against the Rose Bowl personally. It’s mundane and boring and I really have no desire watching us play Utah or Oregon.

Give us a fun matchup against an SEC team or something different than what we’d typically see. I understand I’m in minority on this but I’d just prefer something different.

Troy didn't play in that game. He was suspended.

Ohio State has played in the Rose Bowl twice in 20 years. And if the Rose Bowl is boring, what bowl game is exciting to you? The Alamo Bowl? Really?

Nah, I’d rather beat an SEC teams ass down personally. Not saying I’m right or wrong for feeling that way, but I’d love to get in Jimbo Fisher’s grill. Much moreso than Utah or Oregon…..just doesn’t have same juice for me.
Agreed! Beating a Pac 12 team means little to many. Beating UK or Tenn would look better to most than beating almost any Pac 12 team

I'm honestly fine with beating any SEC team at any time, did fight their BS narrative

Isn’t there an at large or two in the NY6 pool now as well? It’s all hard to keep track of. And frankly, bowls don’t mean shit anymore. I’m sad that it is that way, but it’s just time to face the reality. I still like a good football game, preferable against the SECSPN. I know the Rose Bowl has meant a lot to a lot of people. But it really meaning anything in terms of the college landscape is more or less over now. Are they still doing the thing where the bowls are the semifinals? Because in that case the champs can’t even go some years.
