I just want them to get the Citrus or Outback so I can go see TBDITL and some Buckeye football in my backyard.

Ok, my research shows that it's going to *probably* be the Rose Bowl (

This season is over and was a total, complete and utter failure. There is no Bowl game going to salve any wounds.
I don't know if I can work myself up to watching them play on tv again this year, let alone spending the time and money to travel.
Rooting for Iowa (or anyone else) because Fuck *ichigan has always been and will always be the answer.

How? The Rose Bowl takes the B1G Champ unless that team is in the CFP. If Iowa wins Saturday, they are off to Pasadena. If scUM wins, then they are in the playoff and OSU gets the Rose by being ( presumably) the next highest ranking team in the conference.Ok, my research shows that it's going to *probably* be the Rose Bowl (

If not the Rose Bowl (say Iowa wins), then Ohio State is virtually guaranteed one of the at-large NY6 bowls. Some really weird things would have to happen for Ohio State to go to the Citrus bowl at this point.

Yep. As much as I love tradition, I would gladly sacrifice the Rose to see COTY pants the mouthbreather in front of the whole country.

I cancelled my YouTube TV as soon as the game ended. If I feel so inclined to pay attention, then I'll listen to Keels.
For some reason, I expect a number of players to by-pass the bowl game. Thus, making it even more meaningless.
If I end up being wrong after the fact, then so be it.

Oops, you're right. Unless they take OSU who will be higher ranked. I'm thinking NY6, though, not the Citrus

Yep. OSU would be the higher ranked team over a B1G runnerup Iowa if scUM wins ( Weasals obviously in the CFP), but if Iowa wins ranking doesn't matter because the Hawks would get the Rose by being Conference champs and not being in the CFP. Not sure exactly how the at -large bids in the other NY6 Bowls works.

I've got to tell ya, there isn't much in the way for Georgia to win the championship. Alabama is down, and the playoff opponents will be among UC, dUMb, ND with no coach, OK State. Jesus.

You are 100% correct. And you know what? The *should* go the Rose Bowl over OSU, they will have earned it and fuck M*ch*gan.
A lot of people have MSU in the Fiesta (based on a dUMb win in the B1GCC), if Iowa wins that knocks it down. I can't see the Fiesta, with OSU's history in the game, not taking them.
