This Tweet perfectly illustrates the stupidity/delusions of the Michigan fanbase.
Here's a breakdown of those 7 carries from Haskins: +59; +5; +4; +3; +2; +1; –1
In other words, Haskins had one long run and a bunch of nothing plays.
Haskins's final 10 carries were more of the same (minus the one long run): +9; +9; +3; +3; +2; +2; +1; 0; 0; –1
17 carries for 101 yards, with a 5.9 average, is nothing to get excited about, especially against a bad defense.
Take out the one long run and Haskins was less than mediocre: 16 carries, 42 yards, 2.6 average.
But, SAVIOR!!!

No, I think that's right. Both of those teams deserved a loss. One of them also got a W to go with it.

I can't say for sure because I'm not a subscriber, but there's been rumors floating across their free boards that Harbrau has a good chance of being retained because some of the big, blue haired power brokers like him and want to keep him around because he deserves a pass for COVID. I pray this is what he's hinting at...and that it's true, because if so...
I think Jim has earned the right to be fired after losing his final home game in Ann Arbor in 2021.

Given that this is 2020 - could be a bowl bid to somewhere and the added joy of ruining the Buckeye's season; although COVID might have already accomplished that.
finally got a chance to watch it. does anybody think he was genuinely asking what happens if they win out.....as if it was an option that none of them could actually fathom?

Why would he be fired either at the end of his existing contract or after the first year of his (hopefully) lifetime extension?

If they're going to keep him, they absolutely have to give him an extension. You can't have him go into the final year of a contract as a lame duck coach. It would absolutely wreck their recruiting pipelines to the New England prep schools.

- tsun has a convenient COVID breakout before The Game to both get out of the beatdown that Day has promised them and attempt to wreck our CFP chances. Hell, knowing them they might actually say that they are voluntarily pulling out of the game because we're being irresponsible with COVID protocols, just to somehow spin their cowardice and treachery into some indictment of us as a foosball factory. Far fetched? Not at all. They are absolutely capable of such self-aggrandizing bullshit.
- At the end of the year, Harbaugh voluntarily resigns to go back to the NFL. They let him save face while not having to fire the greatest MICHIGAN MAN of all time.

Yeah, I don't really see that happening myself. The Pedsters keep bringing his name up too. Not gonna happen. From what I've read, Fick seems quite happy and comfortable with his current situation right now.

I could see Fick in Rapey Valley. The money would be there and it's a P5 with resources that isn't Michigan. But they just paid Franklin and extended him, didn't they? That's a big hurdle to get past.

Iowa has had more success in the last 10 years than Michigan, including a blowout win against OSU. Their defense, even in the age offense, hasn't given up over 25 points in a game since 2018. That's with barely any 4 star recruits. Iowa would mop the floor with Michigan if they played this season.
