WEAKKKKKKK. Much like what's taken place on the field the past two years, Don Brown has no response for Ryan Day.

Speaking with reporters for the first time since May on Wednesday, Brown was asked about Ohio State head coach Ryan Day's widely publicized "hang 100" comments. While not a public comment, 247Sports reported that on a summer teleconference between Big Ten head coaches, Jim Harbaugh accused Ohio State of violating NCAA rules with premature on-field instruction in practices.

Day responded on the call with, "How about I worry about my team and you worry about yours?" But at practice later that day, Day told his team ahead of practice that Michigan had better hope there was a mercy rule this season, because the Buckeyes were "going to hang 100 on them."

Over a month later, Brown took a more muted approach with reporters on a video conference.

"Well we get ready to play against them every day," Brown said of Ohio State. "We're running plays, we're seeing concepts, and we've got a lot of work to do. I'm just keeping my mouth shut and go to work every day, that's what I do. And that's what I'm going to do."

I'll be honest, I expected a little more fire from him in response, but I guess at this point I should be used to a Michigan Man doing absolutely nothing when provoked by a Buckeye.

I don't know if this is ScriptOhio's words or elevenwarriors' words.
but maybe someone is learning that if you can't walk the walk, don't talk the talk.
Of course, the line in the sand has been drawn, and I think Don Brown might have the easiest job in the world: Stopping Ohio State from scoring 100 points in 1 game. He doesn't even need to hold Ohio State to 50 or 60 or 70. He needs to hold them to 99 or fewer. Of course, he might want to make good friends with their offensive coordinator (whoever that is) - the clock is on his side. If the OC decides he has no loyalty to Michigan or to Don Brown, it'd be great to see him call plays that don't take a lot of time off the clock, or give them ball back to Ohio State with great field position (for Ohio State). Not that I think it would actually happen, but it would make for a fun plot to a bad made-for-TV movie. (Is there a "good" made-for-TV movie?)

According to MGoBlog’s resident insider, he won’t be the last freshman departing either. Totally healthy stuff for a program.

You got it all wrong. According to DFBIA this is “normal” because of the “free year of eligibility”. Players from out of state who “fear the depth chart” get a free out to go back home.

So normal it’s really only happening in one place for the most part.
