So their new QB standing behind their new OL has nobody to throw to.

Their entire offense is Chardonnay.

Hold the fort. They aren't concerned about the offense because they are getting behind, I shit you not, Don Brown's defense one more time.

Only cracked 100 yards last year twice.....against Army and Illinois

Didnt even make 100 total against Ohio State, Wisconsin and Ped State

surely to improve with a thrown together oline!
Technically he cracked 99 against Army, by gaining exactly 100 yards. On 33 carries. Against Army. In a game of football.

"The Whole Defense is back" ???

They lost their top 3 tacklers (Jordan Glasgow, Khaleke Hudson & Josh Metellus)

Their top pass rusher (Josh Uche)

Mike Danna one of their other regular Dlinemen

their 2 INT leaders (Ambry Thomas and Lavert Hill)

But hey EVERYONE is back!

From a defense that Fields (is 'roasted' the right word here? Doesn't seem enough) for 50+ last year.

I still dont get where this BEST PROSPECT stuff is coming from in re: Milton

It seems all based on the faulty logic of "HES GOT A BIG ARM AND BIG BODY......THE OTHER STUFF CAN COME LATER" that leads NFL GMs to draft players like JaMarcus Russell

He barely cracked the top 10 rankings for "Pro Style" QBs in his class too (which looking back now was a pretty meh crop). BUT HES REALLY BIG!
Another BIG QB with an arm...

Michigan Wolverines QB Dylan McCaffrey opting out of season, will seek transfer

Michigan Wolverines quarterback Dylan McCaffrey is opting out of the season and will seek a transfer, a source told ESPN.

McCaffrey had been competing for the starting job with Joe Milton and Cade McNamara but reportedly fell behind in that competition. His decision to opt out comes on the same day the Big Ten announced it would resume its season starting on Oct. 23-24 with a nine-game schedule.

Entire article: https://www.espn.com/college-footba...b-dylan-mccaffrey-opting-season-seek-transfer

Now with the option to play in October, McCaffrey has decided to seek an opportunity elsewhere and preserve a year of eligibility. When he leaves the Michigan program, he will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Just sayin': There has to be another reason he's leaving scUM that has nothing to due with burning a year of eligibility.
