2020 Team Discussion Thread

I haven't been on Twitter in forever. Is ANYONE but Boat Boy talking about this?

Dan Patrick tweeted the same stuff as Mr. Yacht yesterday. There was a debate as to who posted it first. I think (hope) that gives what he's saying more credibility.

Bobby Carpenter was on it today, too.

Finally... we are the fucking big ten again.

Honestly that's for the better. We do not need them and they're just going to water down our schedule.

That's how I feel, they could walk and I would forget they ever played in our conference. The only potential exception in my eyes is Northwestern. Fingers crossed that report is legit.

Same; NW’s departure would be regrettable because of their academic/research contributions to the conference; plus they field a respectable program with a decent degree of frequency (more division titles than ttun lmao).

Rutgers, Maryland and Illinois literally don’t matter at all. I’ll be willing to bet a vast majority of casual cfb fans don’t even know who the head coach is of each program.

Of Rutgers, UMD, UofI and NWU only one of those doesn't fit (as well) in terms of academics and research.

Buckeyes taking advantage of limited practice time
The Big Ten football season is still canceled this fall — for now. But the Buckeyes are still hard at work, preparing for their next game, whenever that may be.

Ohio State has been going through workouts this week. The Big Ten champs can do 12 hours of meetings and/or drills in helmets and spider pads with coaches on the field right now. But the Buckeyes can’t do seven-on-seven work or go into an 11-on-11 team practice. Ohio State cannot be in full pads or do scrimmage situations.

A four-hour daily limit is set on what the Buckeyes can do, and they must have two days off per week.

Ohio State has no clue when it will be able to take the field again for a real practice in preparation for a real game. But in the meantime, the Buckeyes are making the most of their limited practice time they have been given.
