And is it really in South Fucking Dakota?
There are more commercials on TV about visiting South Dakota more than any other state. I do not know if the female governor has something up her sleeve or what. I think if you are from Ohio and traveled to South Dakota you have to quarantine for 14 days when you return. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Well, it was supposed to be in the Bahamas.

Battle 4 Atlantis moves to Sioux Falls

For the first time since its inception in 2011, the Battle 4 Atlantis college basketball tournament will be held outside of The Bahamas.

According to a report by CBS Sports college basketball insider Jon Rothstein on Monday, the tournament will be moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The games will be played at the Sanford Pentagon, where “very small” crowds will be allowed to attend with social distancing protocols in place.

This year’s tournament was originally scheduled to be played November 25-27 in the Imperial Arena at the Atlantis Resort, and is set to include Duke, Creighton, Memphis, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Utah, West Virginia and Wichita State.

The new tournament dates have not been released as yet, but will be decided when the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announces the official date for college basketball to begin following the Division 1 council meeting on Wednesday.

You do wonder why they chose Sioux Falls, SD though.

Just sayin': Apparently the Dukies opted out when the tournament location was moved....

Duke, the only team in canceled Battle4Atlantis not in South Dakota replacement tournament, aims for own event

FINAL FOUR COMING. I'd completely understand if your brain is completely tuned to Buckeye football at this point, but it is my Ohio State blogger duty to inform you that the BasketBucks are prepping to kick some ass this season, too.

I'm sure they're eager to get going. They've got a (simulated) national title to defend, after all.

Not a big fan of these. Tops look too busy for my liking. I guess the shorts are okay but I am old school. Bring back the ones from the Jim Jackson era and call it a day.

I guess if they win games wearing these I will not give a damn what they look like.
Yeah, I am with you on all counts. I kind of cringe internally seeing the retro 2004-2005 uniform style is coming back in 2020-21, but ultimately it isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Per Jon Rothstein. OSU will play at Notre Dame in the ACC Challenge.

The Buckeyes will hit the road to take on Notre Dame as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, per CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein. It will be played on Dec. 8 or 9 as part of a new slate of games shortened due to COVID-19.

The game between midwest schools will fit onto an adjusted Ohio State schedule, which also includes participation in the Crossover Classic – formerly known as the Battle 4 Atlantic – in late November and the CBS Sports Classic in Cleveland against North Carolina on Dec. 19. Though unofficial as of now, the team's schedule page also lists games against Morehead State (Dec. 2) and Alabama A&M (Dec. 5). The Buckeyes can play a maximum of 27 games, and as long as they play the expected 20-game Big Ten schedule, those should be their seven out-of-conference opponents.

Notre Dame, the most recent addition to the slate, last played against Ohio State on Dec. 21, 2013, in Madison Square Garden in New York City. The then-undefeated Buckeyes topped the Fighting Irish, 64-61.
