I can’t believe they made them finish that game. Holy shit was that an awful video to watch.
It was unreal. I had the game on...missed the collapse but saw everything after the commercial break. Kids were very messed up. How do you play when a teammate/friend/son/brother just dropped. I mean it’s just a damn game. Figure it out later. No one should have to continue like normal after that.

I’ll stop before I get off the rails, but our society has proven we’ll step over bodies to “play ball” at this point.

And I’m guilty of it too. What a weird, dangerous stupid year. Everyone stay healthy and take care of others.

No doubt. Rutgers is legitimately good this season, but that fact has been lost due to the formidability of Iowa, Wisconsin, MSU and Illinois. I think Rutgers should be a Sweet 16 team this season.
Fun fact: The term Sweet 16 comes from back in the day when college basketball used to have a huge tournament at the end of the year spanning several weekends. Once it got whittled down to the 16 best teams, those teams were called the Sweet 16.

Keyontae Johnson update: medically induced coma today. Gut-wrenching to think about.

Preseason conference player of the year. He had just finished an ally-oop. Awful for someone so young. Hope the doctors and kid pull through.

Out of coma, speaking and breathing on his own. Even Facetimed his teammates, per his parents statement.

Glad he’s making progress.
