Yea dont know about that... ive seen him try to tackle RBs... they were some of the longest runs in my lifetime.

You've seen him try and tackle RBs when set up out of position. He has bad angles, when trying to chase down RBs, I agree. But his strength is going after and attacking, not covering. I blame the scheme and forcing Wint to be a S on coaching moreso. Kid was a LB his entire life, and never showed that he had DB speed, and Schiano expected him to be a position that he isn't.

He's just so smooth and polished for his age. He reminds me of what we should have seen from JD before the knees. I doubt he can hang with Terry in a footrace, but his football speed is pretty strong.

He has the build of a redshirt freshman, but he looks like a veteran in terms of creating separation. He will be a star in 2020 and make some waves this year.

Methinks he'd be pretty big for that position (6-3? 235?), but if he's got the speed for it... it would be interesting.

Side note, I ran into the Gant's following the Rose game. Nice folks and seemed a bit surprised that people knew who Dallas is considering the amount of playing time he got. Made me chuckle a bit to think how closely followed these kids are from HS through graduation. But I did disclose that the wife and I are originally from NWO so I followed his recruitment and playing time closer than a lot of others. So, I guess that makes me more of a regional stalker.
