Im not sold on anything til it happens either... otherwise we're Michigan. But im optimistic for future... think theyve set themselves up for success.Where are the grammar nazis?
I like the optimism. But I'll believe it when I see it.
I'm still not sold on Fields. I'm not sold on the defense. I'm not sold on Ryan Day.
Yikes - I'm pessimistic, aren't I?

That's not pessimism, that's realism. I'd love to see the return of the silver bullets, to see Fields light up the scoreboard, and to see first time head coach Day beat Michigan, win the Big Ten, and make it to the playoff in his inaugural season. But I'm not going to predict that those things are going to happen just because I want to believe it. I'll wait and see.Where are the grammar nazis?

Re: Ohio State's 116 penalty flags last season were more than any other FBS team - and more than their B1G title game and Rose Bowl opponents, combined.
Some were just bad calls; however, the Buckeyes still need to work on (i.e. not committing) most of those penalities.
In 2007 I saw what I believe to still be the most egregious case of officials trying, and failing, to give a conference's highest ranked team a win during the old Big East's WVU/Pitt game.
What I saw on the field from B1G officials during The Game 2018 was as close as I've seen since.
That crew should never work another B1G game again.
