purdue loses 70-66 at home to texas in a game that was tight the whole way. boilermakers look solid overall. not exceptional, but solid. no true point guard, though. like the thought of carton and walker going up against hunter and proctor. should be a sizable speed/quickness advantage. purdue gave up a lot of drives leading to wide open kick-outs. they also don't have quality depth past 7 players. boudreaux gets minutes, but he's a complete non-factor.

Purdue kind of choked that one away with two unforced turnovers in the final minutes when they were trying to salt the game away and instead opened the door for Texas to come back. I do like the team Purdue has. They do tend to start slow and improve noticeably. I would expect them to be among the best the B1G has to offer this season for sure.
