Sucks. Texas killed themselves with penalties and a more than a few questionable calls helped. OU D didn't give up over 40 points so their D will now be considered Playoff worthy. Doesn't matter. Kick the shit out of NW, win the Rose Bowl and I am fucking happy as shit with this season.

What bugs me is the lack of calls on OU... where was the false start on 4th an 1 that would've forced a punt? What about the numerous holds by OU?

That ship has sailed. We are more likely to see the conferences break up and split away from the NCAA entirely than we are to see things go backwards.

8 is the right number. 4 is too restrictive with the conferences and whatnot.
