Sort of a trap/let down conference game for Purdue. Bound to happen but they were up 17!

Also, I have no stats to back this up but in a weird way, I feel like Bryce Jordan has some weird home court advantage. It’s not packed and there’s hardly an atmosphere but it...almost seems to work?

Both of those teams seem like they could not miss from 3 point land last night. PSU was shooting threes out of their asses while Purdue was putting on its usual show.

Chambers was substituting guys like it was a hockey game. Which makes me wonder how long he will last there.

Yep that’s him. And his sister Lisa Cline played for the women.

Ryan grew up just north of Indianapolis before going up a little further to Purdue.

Certainly could use a shooter like him in S&G.

Good KBD left early to play in the G league. Would have been nice to see how good Ohio State could have been this year with him. These players make no sense if you are not a lottery pick why leave early.

Because he's making over 800k as opposed to playing on this Ohio State team that would be lucky to make the Sweet 16 even if he was on it.

MSU struggling with IU. I just noticed that, while they play UM twice, their first meeting isn't until 2/24. Pretty odd scheduling when the top 2 teams play twice, but not until the last two weeks of the 10-week season.

But seriously, MSU has a shortage of scorers right now. Their entire offense is Cassius Winston beating his man, attacking in transition, counting on the opposing team to not be able to guard all 5 players well inside and out, and at the end putting teams away with excellent FT shooting.

Sure wish Sparty had shot their FTs like that against us. 30-37 (11-14 from Ward) vs. against IU 8-22 (1-9 from Ward). Are you freaking kidding me? And an Izzo team in Breslin let a Morgan-less IU team get 20 offensive rebounds? What?

Give credit to IU, I think they are a better team than their conference record lets on, but that also had to be the worst MSU has played in a long time. They thought they were getting a night off and it bit them in the butt.
