I would love to to see us with the 5 Dline and 2 LB formation this week. Run zone blitz and disguise where the rush is going to come from, while also covering up our weakness at LB trying to cover people since they cant seem to keep their eyes out of the backfield. We can man up a lot of people but teams with a great TE need a bit more tactic. Do whatever it takes and put the pride on the back burner

Yes. Please God.

5 DL against this kind of offense would be enormous. We cannot accept getting pushed around and adding more size up front can really help accomplish that.

Just put 5 DL on the field and run stunts up front. There would be no need to blitz at all then

Wisconsin's receivers outside of the TE are nothing special. Control the TE in coverage.
But controlling Wiscy's run game is job one.

We will have zero excuses if we can't control this Wisconsin offense... Their best 2 WR's are done and they flourish on running the ball.

No excuses to pretend like they're being coached by Mike Leach. We need to treat them with zero respect because that's exactly what we should feel.

Up in their face out wide with our DB's, bring 8-9 in the box (even a 5th DL), and double their TE. Then watch them press themselves into a 35-10 blowout.

How'd that work against Iowa again?

I can see them knowing that and trying to throw the ball. Didn't a team do that against us recently(I think an MSU team or a past Wisky team). OSU's defense at times can make average QBs look like John Elway

Iowa was the tight end and not any WR... Just come out fired up and angry and nothing will matter.

If we stop their run they have nothing.

My point is, our LBs have a huge problem covering TEs, to the point that it could make Hornibrock look like an elite QB, and that in turn could set up their run game. Game plan is definitely key for this week, pressure is on the LBs for sure to stop the RB at their line of defense and cover the TEs better than they have all season
