Why do people keep saying an 8 team concept is better? There is only 3 teams that deserve to be competing for a title and I'm sure you could have said that about the last few years as well.

My fear is that part of the negotiations will include a permanent seat in the tourney for Notre Dame. Join a conference, win a division, win a conference championship or move on.

We are just so wildly unpredictable and when your team has a lot of veterans like we do this shouldn't happen.

I have an issue with it being Alabama but oh well

Let's face it. The best money outcome would be to put USC into the playoffs and have Bama and tOSU in a bowl. Bama-tOSU would have higher ratings than the playoffs.

Auburn over Bama eliminates the controversy entirely and gives them a great scapegoat: Auburn beat Alabama convincingly 8 days ago, you thought Auburn was better than Bama yesterday when you woke up, what reason do you have for changing that now? Maybe if Bama beat Georgia, but they didn't. I think the committee loves the head to head win. They may even slot USC at the 5 spot and drop Auburn and Bama to 6 and 7 and make a real statement. If USC played Texas OOC and simply didn't schedule ND they would be in the playoffs.

I told my wife yesterday before the game that even if they win, OSU was out. I’ll stand by that and hope for the best. We made a bet. So either I win the bet, or the Bucks are playoffin’. I like win/wins.
