So. Let me get this straight.

--#4 SEC ALABAMA is favored over #1 CLEMSON.

Let me say that again...

Non-Conference Champ (but Mercer Champ!) BAMA is favored over the NUMBER ONE FUCKING TEAM IN THE COUNTRY!

But, there's more...

--#3 SEC GEORGIA is favored over #2 OKLAHOMA.

I guess Vegas has somehow bought into the SEC bullshit too.

Vegas isn't in business to buy into any BS. The lines should actually mean something to people. Rankings are much more BS than Vegas lines. Evidently Vegas would have teams ranked much differently. We don't know what the line would be if tOSU were playing any of those teams. We do know Vegas has made us a 7 point fav vs USC.

Vegas ultimately wants even money on both sides so they make money. They understand the betting public also. I will most likely be on both dogs, Clemson and OU myself.

This Clemson team is by far the most underwhelming "#1" in the CFP era

It wouldn't shock me if either of these teams won it all.

No, Vegas knows that the country and the world has bought into that SEC hype... They're daring teams to beat against the SEC which I don't think a ton of people will. Right or Wrong.

For sure - I was talking more about damage to infrastructure and facilities, specifically things like water supply, the roads, buildings/hotels/the stadium, etc. Hopefully the fire will be out soon but there is at least another week of Santa Ana winds to drive it....

That said, I'm pretty sure the fire that was moving at that rate was the Ventura fire which is further to the south....
