At this point, even if the SEC won out - B1G has the best bowl record this year.

The B1G is the best and deepest conference this year - and it's not even close. I don't really think anyone is even arguing that truth.

Now, the dumpster fire that is the PAC-12, that is the flip side if B1G excellence. That is an epic fail for a supposed power conference.

I don't know if you remember: Berrios was a huge Buckeye fan and would've committed, but the staff never offered him.

What's good for the balance of the league is if OSU loses to other big ten teams a lot more often.

While I like seeing a strong B1G, I'll readily admit that it's much less important now than in the BCS days and will become meaningless in an 8-team playoff with auto-bids.
