Just sayin': Booger and Brown are probably the 2 worst "color guys" (vs play by play guys) currently working for any network.

I don't think any of the color guys are fountains of knowledge. I enjoyed the banter those two had going during last night's game. Sounded more like two old football guys talking than some analyst dropping buzz words while acting like he's splitting atoms.

Va Tech marches 90 yards in 18 plays, burns over 10 minutes off the clock, and fumbles the ball away with first and goal at the one.

Have I mentioned how much I hate shotgun at the one yard line, much less an RPO where something could easily go awry with 11 defenders at the LOS? They were gaining 5 yards a pop. Just line up and hand the ball off, like they did in those boring old football games...and get the hell off my lawn!

I assume they had their mind made up and wanted to put some suspense into what would happen to boost ratings for the selection show. Agree with what you posted from Mack though, I did my bowl picks and actually had the B1G going 7-1 in bowl games with the lone loss being Purdue and the SEC going 3-5. Should be entertaining

Big Ten actually showing up for bowl season. Iowa pulled out the win despite being destroyed in every statistical category of that game, and Brohm really looks like he can coach. Purdue looked GOOD. Iowa and Purdue were the teams I pegged as the only conference losses.

Meanwhile SEC is only favored in the championship games and against ucf. I had them loosing every game against a power 5 team. Regardless it seems quite unlikely they go over 500, but that may be my incredible bias showing.

Luke Falk not playing is disappointing

He got benched a couple times this year, then showed up at practice 2 days ago with a cast on his left (non-throwing) hand.

He was dreadful in the Apple Cup. No idea about his back up but he's looked decent so far.

Holiday Bowl is one of the few games where I'm rooting for both coaches. Dantonio because he's a Tressel disciple and Leach because he's batshit insane in the most entertaining possible.
