It seems to me our WR's and RB's are much more dangerous this year and the defense is better. Buckeyes' secondary played great tonight and the d-line was a juggernaut. JT hit that deep pass in the first half, and made other good throws after not practicing all week. I'd rather see Haskins start, but I'm not writing us off against Clem. Even folks here who are in favor of a playoff berth seem not too confident.

We hit a big pass play maybe once every other game. I cant remeber the last game where we were able to move the ball consistently through the air. If we can win strictly on the ground I would be all for it but unfortunately we forget someone other than the qb is eligible to run the ball.

Our secondary is improved but I think they could possibly get torched by quality receivers with a quality QB.

If JT couldnt have started today and Haskins played and did as well as he did against scum I would be way more confident. His sample size is too low for me to say he would be way better than jt but my gut says he is.

Not many can run the qb/rb option better than JT but that play has jumped the shark and the only reason we do it is because JT cant be relied on to move the ball in the air anymore.

They did curb stomp Miami, but c'mon, Miami has been [Mark May]ting the bed in big games for nearly two decades, and Mark Richt was doing the same thing at Georgia.
Exactly, and it seems more likely that Miami was overrated than Richt found the perfect setting to thrive as a HC after floundering at UGA for at least a decade. Particularly since UGA is now pretty solid after 2 years under Smart.

You present no argument of your own, yet interestingly choose to call mine stupid.

The committee will do what they want - what I say on this board has no effect on them or anyone.

However, my personal preference is that we do not go this year. I am not arguing to the committee, I am arguing what would be better for our program in the long run. We seem to be talking past each other, so good night

Winning the B1G and making the CFP is the goal. Every. Single. Year. It is NEVER better to not make the CFP.
