Agreed. It's been no picnic over the past few years for fans of OSU basketball, but I don't recall Thad losing games by 20+ against lousy mid-majors (Ft. Wayne was sporting a 7-5 record going into last night's game).

He has much more talent than Crean did his first year and is getting blown out by bad teams. IU isn't a good team, but they shouldn't be that bad. I liked Archie a lot, and had him and Holtmann 1a and 1b for who I wanted to replace Thad, but given the results thus far, I'm liking the end result quite a bit.

Certainly agree on that. Though we've gotten blown out by teams with more talent, we're sure as shit not losing to no-name mid-majors.

Every other power conference team they've played has beat them by at least 30. Including 60+ point losses to Northwestern and Purdue

Even crazier is they actually had expectations this year. Can't say I knew much about their team, but I thought Happ would be good enough to carry them to 20 wins and the dance.

All fine by me if Wisconsin disappears from the basketball map.
