I don't think Penn State is the better team. This 3-loss USC team got clocked by Bama. They lost to Utah and Stanford, every team ranked #35 or better in the Massey power rankings except in the win against Washington and that looks a lot less impressive now. Sloppy play is being hung on Kiffin's doorstep, maybe deservedly. Maybe Sarkisian gets Bama moving but I think Clemson is going to beat Bama convincingly after watching both teams. They haven't beaten USC yet and even if they do, that's not beating Clemson or even playing them tough.

As I said, they didn't deserve it, since both had terrible losses (UM and Bama). But if we played them right now I don't think we win.

USC manhandled Washington in Seattle. As the previous poster said, we had a better resume' but that doesn't necessarily mean we're the better team right now. After the Clemson debacle, I think it's a fair argument that both of these teams are better than OSU right now. I don't like it but it's hard to defend what I saw Saturday.

In the end, it doesn't really matter. We lost and looked bad doing it. :sad:

I agree. We scored 17 at Sparty, 10 offensive points in regulation vs scUM, and the big ol' goose egg v Clemson. That's how we ended the season. That isn't going to beat many good teams.
