Quite the opposite, at least from the talking heads. I guess the counter argument is PoSU put 49 up on a team that held Washington to 13 in Seattle (and won).

I think PoSU has/had an argument, but it was against Washington (not Ohio State).

Yeah, there's that argument. But claiming they would have made any noise in the playoff is laughable. If USC can hang 50 on them, I'm sure Clemson and Alabama could have done similar. Though it's possible USC Is actually much better than their record/ranking due to the QB change.

Working on a theory: Whatever virus it was that MSU contracted right before their semi last year lay dormant in their system through the off season. Then, it flared up in September and they passed it along to every team they played until they infected the entire B1G.

Now if some genius can just find a cure in the next eight months...
Accepting a game plan from some watery tart from Sparta is no basis for a championship.
