Game Thread 2015 Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 1st @ 8:30p ET, ESPN (civilized thread)

With the youth, pressure and Pac-12 refs the name of this game will be discipline.

I honestly think that the X's and O's are about as even as you can get in this game. It will come down to who makes the mistakes.

To add to this, the winner will be the team that forces those mistakes.

I think for us this means forcing the whole game on Blake in the passing game. Eliminate the run, make him and Cooper beat you.

For Bama it will be forcing us to win on the ground. Daring our line to make holes and our backs to get to the edge, our pass game with any success will move the ball down field at will but unless it all comes at once, getting the yards in the red zone relying solely on Cardale and the receiving corps will be a challenge.

Cardale isn't as good as prescott running but IMO has a bigger arm. Infact I think Cardale has the strongest arm of any QB bama has faced tnis season but is he going to have time to take his shots? That's what will be interesting to see. I personally think osu runs much better than anyone thinks though so Cardale doesn't have to win us the game just not give it away. This will be such a good game and I'm glad we get the opportunity to play a great bama program.

We do it too. See the iron bowl.

Both sides have a lot to worry about here. It could go any way. Either team could blow the other out or it could be a nail biter.

We've been able to run on some of the best run Defenses in CFB. All games that were away games btw. Hopefully the same will be true against the Tide. I think our OL is way underrated.

This

plus which team can keep it's composure and overcome the inevitable Pac12 officiating game altering gaffe

seriously, it will happen just no way to know to whom

I don't see either team having great success running the football. The experience at the QB position gives the Tide an advantage. Also, With no wind, rain or sunlight, I think Cooper will exploit the OSU secondary in the indoor environment.

Not that I necessarily disagree, how wide do you see the gap in experience between Blake and Cardale being?
