Game Thread 2015 Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 1st @ 8:30p ET, ESPN (civilized thread)

The question is not relevant. Just because a QB has a great arm doesn't make him dangerous. His accuracy would...

Wel, if you watch the games he played in and threw the ball, he was pretty accurate. The real question is will he have time to throw the ball? Thus far apart from Va Tech early on, our OL has done a fantastic job in pass pro. But we are talking about Saban here and so we'll see.

And that was my point. I think Smart will try to disguise coverage and blitz packages to rattle him a bit...

Third and long Cardale will struggle the rest of the downs he will be just fine. Stay in our base package and don't let Alabama sub and we will have a slight advantage. On D get off the field on 3rd down and limit the big play. All easier said than done but its not impossible. 2002 title game was impossible...

Only watched one game and its the same game everyone else watched. He's no Jemiese Winston and neither is our guy, Sims. Wisky didn't exactly play to a point to where you could tell much about him. Not saying he isn't a great QB but there is quite a bit more to being a great QB other than a strong arm. Rumor has it he struggles with accuracy from time to time.
No argument here. There's a lot yet to learn about Cardale. Could be good for us, could be good for you.

You are on to something. We sub the entire D line at times in order to keep everybody fresh. If you can limit subs on offense that will play to you advantage, no doubt. I wonder which way we would pick if the we won the coin toss? Not knowing that much about your QB, I bet we take the ball to start the game, try to start fast and see how Cardale(?) reacts to having to play catchup.
