Game Thread 2015 Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 1st @ 8:30p ET, ESPN (civilized thread)

If you watch the whole scene, she looks as if she is stroking his hair (to her right) then realizes she is on TV and gets an "Oh [Mark May], I might be seen doing this with a guy I am not supposed to be with" look on her face and pulls her hand away and sheepishly sits down.

This was picked up by someone and put it out on vine/twitter/someotherstupidsocialmediaappthingy and stated something along the line of getting caught with her side guy at the game on national television.

The real story that was posted on news sites the other day is that they are boyfriend/girlfriend and have been together for some time now. They were caught on camera right after the Johnston punt that bounced 25 yards backward, hence the long looks on their faces.

In all honesty, I didn't think it was all that funny the original way (fictional) it was presented.
I don't know why anybody would get that from that clip. There's no way she knows she's on TV....and that's only one of plenty of reasons why that's quite an assumption to make.

Not that it matters since it's already been proven to be false, but you can see several people around her acting like they are on the jumbotron. So she would have known that, and could have thought "oh shit, if I'm on that I could be on TV."

Unless the clip others are seeing is somehow different than what I am seeing, she doesn't even touch (or even acknowledge to be honest) the guy next to her. It looks like she just eats something. I don't see any surprise or shock or shame in her face. She isn't even looking at anything in that clip

Again, the guy who seemed to be puking to the right (her left) was funnier to me.

<shrug> not important. If anyone finds humor in this that's great. Not enough laughter in this world.

Because the clip that was posted earlier has the first part cut out.
