Usually $5 at McDonald's or Kroger. Urban "stepped in" because they weren't selling. Its not like he was pissed that the AD was ripping off the fans. He just wanted to have a full stadium for recruiting. The end result is good enough, but if they'd have sold out at $20 Urban wouldn't have made a peep.

Gene Smith raised ticket prices to a meaningless spring scrimmage every year to the point that it was necessary for the head coach to step in and make sure attendance wasn't embarrassingly low.

I'm also pretty sure Urban Meyer had to step in to make parking free on the day of the Spring Game as well.

I'm not sure if we're even having an argument here, but hopefully tickets will continue to be reasonable and Ohio State will continue to have an impressive showing of fan support at these games.

That didn't seem to be something Gene Smith was aware of or concerned about and I am happy Urban Meyer is throwing his weight around on these things.

I take it select Kroger's in Columbus sell them? I'm coming up the Friday before and just lookin for a place to buy for me and the family

Exactly my thoughts! I can't wait to see the returning players, but I really want to see the young guys get some reps. It was fun last year watching the spring game and seeing Rashad Frazier come out of nowhere and make a name for himself. Looking forward and seeing who's that guy this spring
