The hype I hear for this Bobby Portis guy is unreal.

Think I've watch 3-4 Arky games and I haven't seen anything impressive.

It amazes me how often the refs fall for the offensive player initiating the contact to get a foul called on the defensive player. Referring to the last foul they called in the Arky/Wofford game.

In basketball just like football the Big 12 came in drastically overrated. 10 loss oklahoma, 9 loss baylor and 8 loss iowa state all get 3 seeds, so I thought they must have played an impressive OOC. Iowa state played 1 good team, Maryland. Oklahoma at least scheduled UCLA and Wisconsin, which is decent. Then Baylor's OOC basketball schedule is no better than their OOC football schedule. Then 9-loss west virgina who finished ranked and got a 5 seed played UConn (I guess NC State is a decent team) and a bunch of nobody's. At least Kansas went out and really played some quality teams. I understand propping up perrenial power teams like Texas and Kansas, because you know that even with the losses they still have great athletes that could pull it out, but ahh, i just don't get it.

Iowa vs. Davidson
Oregon vs. Oklahoma State
Wichita State vs. Indiana
Michigan State vs. Georgia

Best shot at upsets are probably Buffalo over West Virginia and Dayton over Providence.

I am sort of like you.. I do not pick many lower seeds and once Iowa State realizes they are playing they were kicked themselves into gear and UAB back to Birmingham.

I'm glad we have so many TV time outs because there's nothing more exciting than watching coaches hoard their TOs until the final minute and use them all in the last 60 seconds. It's amazing.

I bet Painter would love for them to reduce the number of timeouts sooner rather than later. That idiot and I thought that he should have been Big Ten COY
