Game Thread 2015 National Championship Game: (2) Oregon vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 12th @ 8:30p ET, ESPN

There's no disputing that Florida delivered a beatdown in that game. But 8 years on, I don't believe 42-14 was an accurate reflection of the general caliber of those teams.
I might be in the minority, but I kind of do. UF's defense was built to slow down that Buckeye attack. For as good as that offense was, the OL was a definite weakness, and UF's front seven had the speed to exploit that...and did they ever. Our tackles just could not keep up.

2) Dropped passes. 2 dropped passes >>>>> 4 turnovers. Mkay....
The first dropped pass was a 5-yarded just past midfield. Even if the receiver makes the catch to convert the first down, there's no way to reasonably assume they move any further, let alone score. Now, the second drop, I think, was a significant play in that it would've been a long gain, fairly deep into OSU territory and likely would've led to at least three points. That said, we had three of our turnovers in Oregon territory on drives where we were moving the ball at will (the Corey Smith fumble definitely cost us points). I'll give Oregon the TD on their long drop if they give us TDs for each of our turnovers in their territory...or even a TD on Corey's drop and FGs on the other two turnovers. So, let's now call the final score 55-27...

Colin Cowherd mentioned [something to drive in calls]
FIFY.

It's done to put the other team at a disadvantage from a substitution and adjustment perspective. OSU runs a lot of hurry-up but do not maintain that tempo very often.

Oregon runs a lot of things to overcome their deficiencies. OSU runs it to increase their advantage, but the purpose/exploit is the same for both.
