Game Thread 2015 National Championship Game: (2) Oregon vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 12th @ 8:30p ET, ESPN

Am I the only one that thought it was low-class to score the final touchdown in the final seconds of the game? That's not an act of strength or class, just a lowly bully cowardly kicking someone when they're down. C'mon, 'coach' meyer, quit being the little boy who's still trying to get his daddy's approval by beating up on the opponent.

It would have been more of an insult to knee the ball with 1:43 left than to keep playing and giving Oregon a chance to possibly make a play. Who knows, with how poorly OSU was handling the ball last night, anything could have happened. EzE was the only guy who didn't have butter fingers the whole game.

No you are not the only one. There were plenty of "Everyone gets a Trophy","Afraid to Compete", OSU/Meyer haters like yourself that had a problem with it.

Oh, there it is, the brilliant response which doesn't want to deal with a hard reality. Any wonder no one outside of the OSU nation supports us? With fans like you, who needs enemies?

We know you're no Buckeye fan, please don't pretend.

Suppose the Bucks take a knee, Oregon still calls timeouts desperate to get the ball back. Is that classy on their part? Oregon wanted the ball back feeling they could score again. Busted play makes it a botched onside attempt away from Oregon having the ball with a chance at a tie.

Scoring a touchdown prevents that from being a reality.

Whole point being, Oregon called TO. Clearly they weren't done playing, why should the Bucks have stopped?

Whine a bit more, Ducky.

Short answer - Yes you are.
Longer answer - This was a football game, not a boxing match. If this were a boxing match the ref would have stepped in and stopped the match because the Oregon D had been abused to the point they were no longer able to defend themselves. It was not a boxing match. You play for 60 minutes and Oregon has shown in the past that's the way they play. You brought up the bully analogy. Oregon could have been accused of being a bully in the past. You teach a bully to stop their behavior by kicking the shit out of them. Maybe that was the lesson.
