Wtf Terps. So, now do we get pissed off Maryland at their place this weekend?

Definitely that odd lull in mid-January where the weather gets cold and things get weird. Which teams are showing up each night 2-3 times in 7 days during conference play. It's tough.

Eh, this kind of stuff happens all the time on the road in college basketball--home team gets up for the game against a ranked opponent, fans get in a frenzy, refs make calls in the home team's favor, and the home team has a lucky night shooting (Michigan shot over 41% from 3 point range). Nothing to get excited about if you're a Maryland fan or Michigan fan. Hell, just last night, #11 WVU won at home against the top team in the land, and unranked Texas won at home against #17 Iowa St., and on Sunday, unranked Clemson won at home against #16 Louisville, a putrid Illinois team won at home against Big Ten favorite and top-25 Purdue. The list goes on and on. Last night's game was no big deal.

Northwestern gave Maryland a run for their money last night. It certainly did not look like the same Marilyn team that we played this past weekend but also Northwestern looked like they put forth a lot more effort than the Buckeyes did when they were blown out at Maryland. I am not blaming Matta for the lack of effort put forth by Ohio State against Maryland because you can only scream at guys so many times before it does absolutely.
