And there it is. Commentators ask the question on whether the Bucks can get a pass for that game if they run out and all agreed that they won't get the pass. Rose Bowl it is, and I'm ok with that.

They really did say fuck it. No way around it we lost to a REALLY bad team at night in our house. That's just embarrassing.

What this loss tells me is I am worried for when we play someone with similar talent on defense. Because everytime I see tech shit the bed I think "damn maybe we still blow but the teams we are playing just blow more".

We are a good team but the next time we beat a top 10 ten will be a first for Urban

Yeah just realized we wont even get to go to the Rose Bowl because it's part of the playoff.

I still think the semifinal games should be played at the higher rated teams home stadium. Then play the championship game in one of the big bowls like the BCS did.

Fortunately they have no say in who gets a berth. The season is barely half way through, and all the SEC teams in the top 5 have 2-3 games to play against one another. We just need to take care of our business.

I'll be honest...even if the perfect storm happens where we win out convincingly against a 1-loss MSU and a 1-loss Nebraska team in the B1G Championship game, I get more convinced we still won't give in based on the pile of heaping shit that VT has become. I agree they had us circled on the calendar and played their perfect game but even given that, it was a night game at home. That loss, even though we have improved 100% and they have digressed 100% since then, is more damning every week.

Now that being said, I do not think anyone expected a playoff berth that night after the loss. The real goal is to keep improving and winning games, with a B1G championship and momentum headed into the 2015 season where we get almost everyone back. If we make a playoff, great. Really I am just frustrated as hell that VT could not have vindicated that loss a little bit. On the other hand, maybe it seems like that one isolated super-underdog defeat in hindsight when VT goes 5-7. But I doubt it.

Just win , Buckeyes . The rest will take care of itself. You just have to go back to last year.

I also looked at all the ranked teams' schedules that are ahead of us for now. I could post my thoughts but I don't wanna jinx anything + I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post it at.

so you mean rece davis (bama fan), jesse palmer (florida qb) and david pollack (georgia lb) all said a 1 loss osu wont get into the playoff? ya dont say.....

The way things are shaking out, Miss State or Ole Miss will likely drop a game before the Egg Bowl (Maybe both), and then one will beat the other. If tOSU knocks off MSU and wins the championship they should be a lock and the VT game will be a old memory come time for the playoff selection.
