A functional receiving corps means this team can score on anybody. There isn't a go-to player like they had last year with Hyde or Miller, but there are more options and more balance with this group when the receivers are switched on. They're starting to develop an identity beyond "Devin Smith fly route". If they get to a point where they have 5-6 credible pass catchers you'd have to like their chances going against any team's 5th or 6th best coverage guy - even ones as good as what MSU has.
