Could have been handled more expeditiously. As soon as the video was released. Unless he was waiting to see what was said to prompt him to suckerpunch a kid into oblivion. Maybe it was a fat joke about someone.

Re: Freshman (2013) ... appeared in one game as a reserve wide receiver.

YES, he probably deserved to be kicked off the team. However, my guess is that in reality, Hoke found an excuse to get rid of a 3 star receiver that probably was never going to make the 2 deep so he can give his scholarship to someone else. Want to bet that if Hoke thought that he was the "second coming of Anthony Carter" he would have given him a second chance?

This seems like the wrong moment in the thread to claim failure by CHoke. He removed the player, sounds fair.
