2014 NFL (Well, Browns, so, sorta "NFL") Draft Thread

yea i know i am biased, but i don't see anything better than troy smith.

good luck to troy this year in montreal.

big opportunity to prove himself and get a second or third chance in the NFL where the shorter guys are getting a second look.

gotta have some connection to the catcher in the rye here with the 22 curse (weeden, quinn, manziel all at 22 to the browns).

maybe not a catch 22 but a pass 22 of a fail 22.

the shitshow side show should be awesome though for laughs. don't expect much else out of the browns anyway.

i got this theory.

only one team from ohio is allowed to be good at a time. for this theory to apply though buckeye football and hoops are both one team, the buckeyes.

theory goes like this, only one team from ohio is allowed to be good at a time.

most years it is the buckeyes and that is great.

occasionally the reds.

once or twice the lebrons or the mark price, larry nance, ron harper, brad daugherty, craig ehlo, etc group.

the indians had a team stacked full of hall of famers in the 90's, hence john cooper and rick yudt.

i think this theory has legs.

nice icon / avatar holybuckeye

hope he does well, not even vBetting on it though if there were such a fiat currency

Thank you. I hope he does too. Although I like Gilbert it's a damn shame we didn;t take Watkins... good lord I could play QB with Watkins and Gordon and Tate in the backfield lol. Wish we would have wait til rd 2 for CB but that first rounder next year is nice

I think with a couple good FA pickups and continuing to draft well, the CBJ might be that good professional team in the state with Ohio State being the good collegiate program.

yea gilbert took me a second to get with when i first heard it because i wasn't really looking at guys in that range with us at 4 and 26. watched the draft though and then watched some internet and then i started to remember reading about him before and then i was a little excited.

did my leg tingle, no. guess i won't be doing commencement this year.

+1 for the Chris Matthews hit...

the fact they got a 1st to move back and still take that guy was awesome. At least they are trying to be aggressive in the draft with the picks instead of just sitting back and taking it.

don't like them throwing anthony gonzalez under the bus in one year wonders while talking about benjamin.

irvin had his back though with the injury comment.

i can't think of michael irvin without thinking about him getting accused of raping some chick at gun point.

i wasn't getting much puss at the time and it was just infathomable that this hall of famer had to rape chicks at gun point. what were the odds of me ever getting laid again i thought. little did i know i would soon discover how much me and sluts have in common.

Looking at Facebook/Twitter I'm seeing mixed views on Johnny. Some are frustrated, as many here, but some are giddy:
