I think Harvard has had their fun and they will be done after today. They just do not have the size to match up against MSU. I really like Virginia and think they will past Memphis but after that not so sure.

The three point shot helps, but the one-and-done thing has changed the game. Look at Mercer - 5 senior starters. You never see that at a major program. If our guys all stuck around for 4 years we'd be hanging some banners, but other major programs would say the same thing.

Next year (assuming Ross returns, which I'm guessing he will), OSU will be starting four seniors (Ross, Thompson, Scott and Williams). I'm not holding my breath for any banners.

Michigan's run is even easier--they get a weak Texas team today and after that they get the winner of an 11 seed (Tennessee) and a 14 (Mercer).

Next year (assuming Ross returns, which I'm guessing he will), OSU will be starting four seniors (Ross, Thompson, Scott and Williams). I'm not holding my breath for any banners.

If Trey continues to improve (and he has improved), it wouldn't surprise me to see him start/get the majority of the minutes. I try not to think about his wasted year by not red shirting. Would be nice if he was going to be a junior.

I don't understand the desire for players to lunge and leave their feet at a jump shooter. How often do you see actual jump shots blocked?

Run out and contest as best as you can- get a hand up and close to the face- if the guy hits it, he hits it.

I don't think Texas will be an easy matchup for scum... They have size and barnes stresses defense. If the Texas team that beat Kansas by 12 earlier this year shows up.. scum's losing ...thats a big IF though

It will all come down to hitting shots. They are a lot like Dook. Live and die by the 3, and Texas will clog the middle if the three's aren't falling. Could be a long day for UM.

Florida looked pretty good to me today. They played very solid defense and control themselves on offense. They do not run up and down the floor and take crazy shots. They get up the floor quickly put play under control but it is their defense that I am impressed with and especially Young down low. Needless to say I have them cutting down the nets in a couple weeks.
