2014 FIFA World Cup - Brazil

Argentina won't get a better opportunity than that gift.

They just did, and Higuain screwed that one up too by being offside. This match is pretty open. Argentina should continue to get their chances. Germany aren't keeping men back like other teams that have played Argentina. They're not set up as if they're scared of the best player in the world because they know that they have a better team. This should continue to be pretty entertaining.

...and now Kramer goes off. He shouldn't have been allowed to continue in the first place.

Yea.. They gotta change the rules for head injuries... They play on because of the limited amount of subs.. Not sure how you allow a "medical" sub that doesn't count against the 3. With the acting it would be tough without a neutral med staff

Agree 100%. I suffered a concussion in January (my 2nd). I am still experiencing headaches and fogginess because of it. After seeing the replay from Kramer, he should have come off immediately.
I told my wife, "He just got cussed."

Geez, even the little turns in the midfield by the Germans...Americans just don't pull that off.

Any German that can take a peak before receiving the ball and see space, opens up the hips and turns to receive the ball going forward. Makes a huge difference in the attack.

In and ideal world an additional substitution would not need to be added. If this sport could be governed effectively they could hold clubs, federations and managers accountable for refusing to remove players with obvious head injuries. I would hate to see the tactics involved in the sport forever changed because managers are allowed to remain willfully ignorant about head injuries and won't use the current amount of substitutions they have in a more responsible manner.
