2014 Bowl Games Open Thread

Suddenly, the big 12 looks very small. Say what you want about B1G irrelevance, with the exception of Illinois, B1G teams have given a good account in every game so far. Even if they don't win going forward, I don't expect any B1G team to get rolled like we saw last night.

After the Razorbacks performance last night all I've heard on the radio this morning is that dreadful, deep-fried, annoying ass fucking "Woooo Pig Sooie" chant. Holy Hell living in Little Rock sucks right now. The SEC tee-shit fanboys are out in style with their pitch forks talking about how the conference will go undefeated. About how the Razorbacks are a really good team, and watch out for them next year. About how "them there Bama boys gunna beat tha tail off that Yankee Ahia State team."

Since when the Hell does 7-6 equal really good? Its the same record as the Va Tech (who has a top 15 defense) team OSU was getting made fun of for losing to by these same inbred cows.

C'mon Louisville...

7-6 SEC is like 10-2 in other conferences. Come on Sere, I thought you knew this already.

That Texas job will be mine in 3 years. You just wait and see.

Rarely will I root for ND.....but please beat LSU

This could be an ugly game today. The Irish couldn't have pulled a much worse opponent to play given their circumstances. I've heard that we got a few defensive players back from injury, but they're going to be playing limited snaps and not at 100%. The reality is some of the more important players, Joe Schmidt and Jarron Jones, are still done for the season and were a big part of the decent defense that played up through the FSU game. The starting roster is mostly underclassmen/2nd stringers right now, and LSU will likely be running the ball at will. On the offensive side, Malik Zaire will be starting in place of Golson, which is exciting but a tough first start for the kid from Kettering. However, a staunch LSU passing defense will hamper an Irish offense that relies heavily on the pass. In the end, the depleted Irish defense could make a pedestrian LSU offense look like world beaters and Irish offense will struggle to put points on the board unless the running game comes out strong. I'm not exactly optimistic
