2014 Bowl Games Open Thread

Did ESPN cover the big 12's 0-3 day extensively? I understand they pump up the sec, but I think you guys are over reacting by expecting them to devote half an hour of sportscenter to it.

I honestly don't remember how ESPN covered the big 12's bad day. I onlywatch actual sporting events, not shows, so maybe they did spend half an hour in the big 12 having s rough go of it.

I don't watch enough ESECPN to know. However, you know if Ole Piss and MSU had won it would be on the front page with extensive analysis of how the SECSECSEC is superior to all college conferences, the NFC South, the AFC North and could go toe to toe with the Patriots and Seahawks.

I don't expect ESPN to devote a half hour to it. But when a national network jumps in bed with a conference, and their talking heads spend months carrying water for that conference, for them to start their show with NBA games shows cowardice and a lack of accountability. Whatever was left of ESPN's credibility went down another notch.

Makes sense. It doesn't make sense to not watch ESPN and complain about the content though. How do you know what they are saying if you don't watch?

They didn't cover it, AFAIK, but they devoted significant time before the bowl season about how the B1G were underdogs in every game.
