Game Thread 2014 B1G Championship Game: tOSU vs. Wisconsin, Dec. 6, 8:17 PM ET, FOX

I'm having trouble getting excited about this. I hate CCGs as a concept, unless, as this one does, it pits two teams against each other who didn't play in the regular season. Regardless of what's on the line, after beating Michigan, what more do you want from a regular season until the bowl game? I'm thinking its going to be hard for both teams to get up emotionally for this game

I'm the opposite. What's bad about adding another big game to the schedule? I've been looking forward to this game all week, and when they kick off I'll be shadowboxing the tv. And you still get a bowl game too.

It could end up like the VT game. But as I said, this is a different offensive line than the one that was in front of JT that game. We have someone to run the wildcat who is a threat to throw. Our receivers are playing better. If the only difference between VT and Wisky was the quarterback, I could understand your concerns. There are enough other differences (including ones on the defensive side of the ball) to not make that an apples to apples comparison.
Right, I agree. But with the QB position being so pivotal, and Wisc having a strong defense like VT, just saying it's a tough first game as a QB.

My 2 cents, the key to the game tomorrow rests on the Rush Defense. If Barrett were healthy, I would've said that a high scoring affair would've been beneficial to the Buckeyes, but with CJ starting, it is imperative that the D shuts down Gordon and keeps the score low so that the pressure isn't on CJ and EE can carry the load.

Fortunately its not his first game on the field for the Bucks. I'm not trying to compare the other defenses he's faced to Wisky, but he has at least seen some game action. And Urban said on Mike & Mike Cardale has been getting most of the snaps on Fridays. It's not an ideal situation, but I believe it is better than what JT faced against VT.

Word is that Wisky's OL is really dinged up. A long, physical season has had its toll. Volts, the starting Center may not play. If he does he will be playing at a great disadvantage. If he starts I don't see him finishing the game. If he doesn't play or can't finish they will be playing a Freshman at Center. Both Bennett and Washington should have big games tomorrow night, in either case. Here's hoping that Shutt and maybe Hill can contribute as well.

GO BUCKS!

Not to mention Farris. I like the idea of throwing fresh bodies at a banged up O-line.
