When he puts forth the effort, he can be a force. Problem is, he's doing that far too seldom this year. He disappears for QUARTERS, not just plays. Somebody with his physical gifts shouldn't do that. He'll still be one of the top two guys picked in the draft based on his ability, but he's far from a sure-fire All Pro in the NFL IMO.

Oh no not at all. I agree too.

Mario Williams was very much the same way. Faces a LOT of critics. Has had ups and downs. But has turned in a few real good seasons (2 Pro-Bowls). Yet he's still not...I dunno...that "omg!!" impactful in an NFL sense? Maybe he is. I'm not that in-tuned to NFL circles and talk.

May just be the life of a DE is what I'm saying.
