Right. Because of that year a one loss SEC team went to the BCS CG over an undefeated team from a BCS conference. What year was that again?

The only time that an SEC school got a spot in the BCS Title game when they had more losses than a team from another BCS-AQ conference was in December of 2007, when 2-loss LSU got selected over 1-loss Kansas (who was 8th in the final BCS standings).

Will they still release the final coaches' votes? I'd love to see how low some of these SEC coaches are ranking Ohio State. As best I can figure it we're losing 30 points off of what we would have if all 58 coaches that didn't vote us first voted us second. My hunch is that isn't the result of a bunch of coaches voting us third or fourth but rather a few SEC coaches voting us very low.

Then Espin will lead the charge for Mizzou to be in the NC game. The same Mizzou team that was a middle of the road Big 12 team and makes it to the SECCCG in its second year in the league.

Has espn ever once pondered the question of how a couple perennial also-rans in the Big 12 have suddenly turned up and wrecked shop in the SEC in their first two years?
