2013 Preseason and regular polls

I'd be willing to bet Arkansas was one of the teams that had us at 5th or 6th.

Also, I hope many north of the Mason Dixon line put OSU #1 if they win next week just to deal with the above mentioned idiots.

The only non-southern coach that I can see hokeing us is Peterson. We "took" that Fiesta Bowl spot away from him one year, and there's always that whole stupid Gee comment. Tuberville is also a thought based on juggalo reasons. Hell, that anti-Ohio State President that they have down there now might tell him to hoke us.

Has espn ever once pondered the question of how a couple perennial also-rans in the Big 12 have suddenly turned up and wrecked shop in the SEC in their first two years?

in the history of being affiliated with the BIG 8 and BIG XII Missouri won the conference one time, 1969 and that was co-champs.....playing for the SEC!!1!! title in year 2

If we beat Sparty and auburn crushes mizzou, they pass us. As outrageous as it is.

Unless you mean beat to a pulp. Then yes, you are correct.

Disagree. The final Coach's poll is always greatly different than the week before as the coaches, for the first time all year, actually do it. Alliances are shown and I'd still much rather be in our spot than Auburn's. Many, many coaches are tired of the same SEC talk that we all are and I expect to see almost all non-SEC coaches to have OSU in the top 2 and then a few SEC coaches will have us 5th or so.
