They shouldn't even be ranked. Their signature win is against a 3-2 Notre Dame team that could very easily be 1-4. And those two powerhouse programs in Akron and UConn with which Michigan struggled were trucked by Bowling Green and Buffalo, respectively, this weekend.

THIS!!! Not to mention giving up 13 turnovers to what is normally an invisible defense can't help.

Not that ND is good or anything, but how the hell do you beat them and then do the shit against Akron and UCONN? What a mess they are.

Even when it is so blatantly clear that we need Michigan to be as over-ranked and over-rated as possible at the end of the year to help our chances of making the NC game, people still can't get over this obsession with wallowing in their misery at all costs.

It wasn't this way pre-Cooper. Michigan was a hated rival but no so hated that much of the fanbase would cut off its nose to spite its face. I truly believe that the Cooper years snapped something in the brains of a large part of this fanbase. Michigan went from a rival to a warped obsession. An obsession that grew to the point that any pain they suffer is paramount even if it has negative consequences for Ohio State.

CFN has all of their writers assess how the Buckeyes would match up in every other conference. The consensus seems to be that they are 5th or 6th in the SEC, 2 to 3 in the PAC12, 2nd in the ACC, and 1st in the Big12. It'd be hard to argue otherwise based on the minimal body of work so far. The B1G needs to get their shit together in OOC/bowl games, because 4 crappy out of conference games do nothing to impress anyone.Doesn't help that tOSU didn't have a chance to show in a big bowl game last year.

And you're saying that there's something wrong with this...?
