I really wanted to at least get a 2 seed this year but going to be tough now.

Ohio State has been a 1 or 2 seed in the past four NCAA tournaments. Only two other teams share their company: Kansas and Duke. Also, Ohio State is the only team to make the sweet 16 the past four years. That tells me Matta and his staff are doing something right to have sustained success. Two losses isn't the end of the season, there's plenty of time to get things straightened out and I trust Matta's staff will figure some of that out.

This team has got to shoot the ball better or we will not get any better. You cannot win witH just defense in college basketball. we only have one guy, maybe two, who can shoot from the outside and that does not bode us well for the rest of the season. i am not worried yet but I am getting very close to it.

Wichita State's record is now 19-0 this season, the best start in school history. Obviously, we caught them on the uptick last March.

I don't think seeding is even worth discussing at the moment.

The non-conference schedule offered little resistance but the conference sked has been a rude awakening.

Probably about as much as Diebler missed Jent in 2011 when he shot 50% with other assistant coaches. Shooting well is a lot about effort in practice, repetition, and confidence, three things that an assistant coach can't really control.

This 'Cuse/Duke game is very entertaining, and 'Cuse is just scary good. I haven't seen much of 'Zona, though, so can't compare what I've seen. That 'Cuse zone will give anyone nightmares!

Parker fouled out on a horrible call on a flop by a defender with about 2 minutes left...oh damn, this is coming down the buzzer.

EDIT: Christmas is a really good actor and sells the slightest contact as a massive foul.
