if i am correct his list is stanford, NW, ND...i think with everything we have been thru this season he just lost interest in us and was looking elsewhere...and maybe he also wants to go out of state? just a guess

He is not and never has been a College Football fan, football for him is something he does not what he is. The OSU name doesn't have the same imprint in his mind. I don't even think he fully understands how good he is.

In any case, Urban wants him BAD. Was one of the first kids he contacted. The kid and his family though are 90% education, 10% football tradition. OSU had a legit shot until Tressel resigned.

Also, lets be honest here, the difference between an undergraduate education at Princeton and an undergraduate education at OSU isn't that big. 90% of the experience will be the same. However, graduate programs do show a major difference between schools, from what I've heard
Anyone thinking objectively would rather have a bachelor's degree in CS from Stanford than a bachelor's degree in CS from Ohio State.

Maybe so, but as someone who had to decide between a brand-name Ivy League and a not so well-known school, I honestly don't think where you get your undergrad degree makes that much of a difference. Certainly there are exceptions, but specifically regarding CS, my friend's father owns a very profitable IT company and he told me regarding my decision that he finds the kids at the local state school (UMass) just as knowledgeable as the kids he interviews at MIT. I could be wrong but that's how I justify it :)

Yeah. A CS degree is worthless other than saying you graduated from college. It's all about certifications.

And Ohio State is great for networking purposes because they're so many people that went to Ohio State. No matter where you go, there's a chance you meet someone who either went to Ohio State or follows Ohio State.

Saw Joey O'Connor with a big knock down block in the red zone.

I think Odenigbo and Spence are very similar in their moves off the edge, mostly speed. If both came to tOSU, I would want one to play LEO or OLB, opposite each other.

Jim Kelly's nephew has a world more mobility than he ever had.
